Copper clad aluminum (CCA) wire is a bimetallic wire a copper cladding concentrically covering an aluminum core which combines the optimum properties of both metals in co composite material ideally suited for most electrical conductor application. The processing method of CCA wire is similar to copper wire during cable manufacturing.
